A Morning of Hope

I thought it would be a normal morning, but it became A Morning of Hope. Instead of waking up at my usual time of 7:30 or 8:00 a.m., I found myself wide awake at 4:30. Little did I know this walk would become an exercise in finding hope in everyday moments. With plenty of time to kill, I passed the hours until 6:00 a.m., got ready, and decided to go for a walk. I promised myself to become the healthiest and fittest version of me, and this walk marked the first step.
A Samurai on a Walk
To be honest, I just wanted to sleep, but I pushed myself out the door anyway. I’m terrified of stray dogs, and they’re usually around. So, I took a stick with me for protection. I carried it on my back through my hoodie like a samurai. It felt funny, but I couldn’t help feeling a little proud—what boy doesn’t dream of being a samurai, right?
Life on Platform 1
I chose a route through the railway station, hoping to delay any encounters with dogs. On my way there, I passed a few people and soon found myself walking along Platform 1. Workers were busy in the station management room. Employees stood at the ticket counter, while an RPF guard kept watch. Commuters moved toward their platforms, ready to catch the 6:33 train to their offices.
Reflections of Hope
Seeing all this activity triggered an optimistic thought. The world really does run on hope. This walk wasn’t just about exercise; it became A Morning of Hope, reminding me of the strength and optimism that lie in everyday moments. It’s hope that drives people to sacrifice their sleep. They ensure the safety and security of others. It inspires commuters to rise early, provide for their families, and add value to their lives and the world around them.
This realization filled me with an inexplicable warmth. Every fiber of my being resonated with this sense of optimism and hope. As the sun began to rise, casting its glow over the day, I took out my phone to write it all down. I wanted to capture the thoughts and feelings swirling inside me. Finding hope in everyday moments has a way of doing that—making you stop, reflect, and appreciate the small things.
Wahh classic. The thought and the emotion in the you writings just makes the scene alive. Very classic.
Thank you Harshad.
